In the following slides, we will be discussing several common restorative dental procedures that are focused on repairing and restoring damaged, decayed, or missing teeth.
FILLINGS 1 Fillings are used to repair cavities caused by tooth decay. They are typically made of composite resin or amalgam and are placed directly into the cavity to restore the tooth's shape and function 02 03
CROWNS 2 Crowns are used to restore teeth that are severely damaged or decayed. They are custom-made caps that fit over the entire tooth to provide strength and protection. 02 03
BRIDGES 3 Bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of a false tooth (or teeth) attached to two crowns that fit over the adjacent teeth. 02 03
IMPLANTS 4 Implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of a titanium post that is surgically implanted into the jawbone and a crown that is attached to the post. 02 03
DENTURES 5 Dentures are used to replace multiple missing teeth. They are custom-made to fit your mouth and can be either partial or full dentures. 02 03
