  2. The Little Oyster is a purpose built and privately owned Care Home. The Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide specialist care and accommodation for adults with physical and /or learning disabilities.  The Little Oyster is a 64 bed Home, with an enviable position on the seafront of Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey, overlooking the Thames Estuary and prestigious Blue Flag Beach. The Home has extensive grounds and facilities, which include a Cafe and Public House. The Home has five main areas for accommodation: The Pearl Bungalow Two 4bed bungalows for individuals requiring enhanced care / supported living and/or preference for a small, quiet environment. A member of staff is available for individual support needs. The Pearl garden Eight self-contained Flats for semi-independent clients who may require rehabilitation, life skills training or support with medication and daily skills. All facilities on site are accessible and available to all clients irrespective of which area of the Home they live in. The Flats Bedroom with separate shower room Living room with kitchen

  3. Three areas in the main Home. Eleven bedrooms with ensuites on the Ground Floor. Eighteen bedrooms with ensuites on the First Floor. Fifteen bedrooms in the Annex , all on the ground floor, with separate toilets and bathrooms. Bedroom with ensuite Individually personalised by Resident. There are large lounges and dining rooms in each area, with wide, wheelchair accessible corridors. Residents are encouraged to use all facilities within the Home and are not restricted to one area.
