  1. Bezymianny is located on the southeast slope of the extinct volcano Kamen. The Location is 55.98N, 160.58E. The Elevation is 9,453 feet (2,882 m). Bezymianny is 800 meters in diameter. Bezymianny is located on a fault which runs in a northeast to southwest direction. A large portion of the volcano is made of a thick mass of light gray hornblende and andesites. Bezymianny is a stratovolcano /Composite •

  2. • Lava on the lower slopes of bezymianny are covered by loose pyroclastic deposits. Many flows of lava composed of darker augite originating from this crater partly reaching the bottom of the volcano. When the lava cools it turns grayish black and into an igneous rock.

  3. History of eruptions • Bezymianny has erupted 34 times. Eruptions occur once or twice a year. The most recent eruption was December 2001, there was an ash cloud had risen to an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 km. Then a tremor began on march 15 the volcano started erupting again. The eruptions have never caused any casualties but it did burn a lot of the peoples land.
