  5. Mouse • Pointing Device • Several Types • Functions • Left Mouse Button • Right Mouse Button • Wheel Button • Left-handed vs. Right-handed

  6. Monitor • Displays what you have requested from the CPU • Two Types • Flat LCD or LED • Box Design

  7. Removable Media • Storage that can be moved from computer to computer • Types Include: • CD (Compact Disk [DVD/Blu Ray]) • Memory Card • USB flash drive

  8. Printer • Creates a representation of the text or media on paper • Two basic types • Black and White laser • Color inkjet • Easy installation

  9. Audio Output • Speakers may be plugged into the green plug in order to hear sound from the computer. • Headphones may also be plugged into the green plug.
