  2. History Academic Team QUESTION: One leader of this state, John McKinley, was captured in bed by the British. The Swedish settlement of Fort Christina is located in this state. This state disputed a small tract known as the Wedge with its northern neighbor until 1921. Until it gained an independent legislature in 1701, it was known as the Three Lower Counties." This state's northern border is an arc centered on the courthouse in New Castle, the Twelve-Mile Circle, and its western border is the Mason-Dixon line. For ten points, name this small Mid-Atlantic state where an 1861 vote against secession from the Union was taken in Dover.

  8. History Academic Team This year we will have both a High school team and a Middle school team. Students are invited to join other history lovers on Wednesdays from 3:20-4:00. Each week, students will participate in quiz bowl competitions to sharpen their knowledge and skills. There is not a separate application form for the History Academic Team. Just indicate your choice for H.A.T. on your CLUB CHOICES form.

  9. History Academic Team Our goal is to attend one or two competitions across Georgia and the south east this school year. Who knows, we might even qualify for national championships in Washington, D.C.! (We did last year!!!) If you have any questions or for more information, please contact Mrs. Rodgers.
