Finance 8.4 Upgrade Schedule • Finance 8.4 is web-enabled • Project Begins November 2003 • Cutover to new system October 2004 • Consulting Contract awarded to IO Consulting, Inc., • one functional consultant • one technical consultant • New modules: Asset Management and Billing/Receivables • Go Live April 2005

Student Administration Schedule • Readiness Assessment FY 04-05 • Start date revised to October 2005 • Fall 2007 Admissions cycle begins October 2006 • Summer 2007 class schedule build begins Dec 2006 • Fall 2007 class schedule build begins Feb 2007 • Fall 2007 Fin Aid cycle begins March 2007 • Summer 2007 Registration begins April 2007 • Fall 2007 Registration begins May 2007

Confidentiality and Access forms • Signature on Confidentiality form now required of all student, faculty, and staff who request access to systems that contain personal data • Access forms are required for all systems that store confidential information • Both forms are available at http://cms.csusb.edu/security.asp • All completed forms are stored at central HR

Access to systems • VPN – Virtual Private Network • Required for all access to Student records from a remote site • Will be required on campus by Winter 2004 – to ensure encryption of personal data • WINS • Must access Finance 7.5 resources through the secured WINS server (ip address 139.182.28.115) no later than Dec 1, 2003
