THE NECESSITY FOR A LABOUR MARKET SECTION ON THE WEB-SITE OF RES-OP-DEV “The priorities of the project RES-OP-DEV have been structured in common objectives that envisage partners’ joint activities. The Romanian and the Bulgarian cross border partners bring together human and material resources in order to undertake common activities for completing their purposes, such as: • Common monitoring of the labour market,• Joint development and provision of specific training programs,• Development of joint curricula and courses, as well as staff exchange within the project,• Creating a common strategy for managing and acquiring best project results.”

  5. II. LABOUR MARKET SECTION OF THE WEB-SITE OF RES-OP-DEV (1) 1. The labour market section of the web-site of RES-OP-DEV comprises the following information: 1.1 Statistical and monitoring data (tables with engineering vacancies) 1.2 Information about internet-based resources, useful for job-search 1.3 Lists of EURES advisers in Bulgaria and Romania 2. The labour market section of the web-site of RES-OP-DEV consists of: 2.1 “SEARCH FOR VACANCIES IN BULGARIA” section 2.2 “SEARCH FOR VACANCIES IN ROMANIA” section

The tables with vacancies from Bulgaria comprise engineering and technical vacancies, offered in the local Directorates “Labour Office” of the National Employment Agency of Bulgaria (Агенция по заетостта) in the Danubian districts of Bulgaria 2. The tables with vacancies from Romania comprise engineering and technical vacancies, offered in the local Agencies “AJOFM” of the National Employment Agency of Romania (ANOFM) in the Danubian districts of Romania.

  13. CONCLUSIONS 1. The number of engineering and technical vacancies, offered in the Danubian districts of Bulgaria and Romania is relatively low, especially compared to other Bulgarian and Romanian regions 2. There is a growing need for the creation and development of new companies and enterprises, working in the field of engineering and technology 3. There are numerous internet-based resources, which could be applied for monitoring and analysis of the labour market and successful job-search in Bulgaria and Romania.
