Fourth Grade Updates: Key Dates and Exciting New Initiatives

Welcome to a fantastic start to the fourth grade! This year, our students will be engaged in a variety of subjects including Math, Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Social Studies/Science, where they will learn about the Vikings and the founding of our nation. Important dates to remember are September 5th (Open House), October 17th (End of First Nine Weeks), and October 18th (Teacher Work Day). We’re excited to introduce a student blog where two students will post each week. Let's make this year amazing together!

The motto, Fourth Grade is On Fire, really seems to fit. We hit the ground running, and I am already seeing exciting things start to happen. One thing we will implement this year is a student blog. Each week I will pick two students to post a blog on our class website, www.bamfourthgrade.weebly.com. Check it out. We posted our first blog last week, and the kids are really enthusiastic about it. Don’t forget to check us out at Open House. There are some new things I will be doing this year regarding spelling words and homework, and I would like a chance to discuss it on Thursday. Hope to see you soon!
