Kinds of video worship • Projection Assisted Worship • Lyrics, announcements, sermon illustrations are Projected. • The Sermon is Live. • Video Assisted Worship • Most of the worship service is locally produced • The Sermon is a video. • Other elements might be projected.   18. Video Display • large screen TV or a projector and screen • The 110% rule • Darkened room makes a big difference, especially for faces. • The better the projector the more ambient light it can handle. • The quality of the screen matters, too. • Quiet projectors are important.

  19. And once you have those videos… • Your preacher will get better if s/he watches them! • Your teens might like to view them! • Put them on your website and link to Facebook! • Make DVD’s for shut ins • Sell DVD’s to members • Use for discussion groups • Make them available to small groups

Our Subscription Series • Four video sermons a year offered to Lay-Led Congregations. • The package includes a DVD, worship suggestions, readings, and a text of the sermon. • The cost is $100 a year. • The sermons cover “UU-101” topics. • Lay leaders tell us this is very popular and useful to them. • They want more congregations to do this.

Each branch has a steering committee. • Program? • Branches have weekly worship (school year) Social action project, social events, and covenant group. • Pastoral Care? • Mostly by phone and email. Ministerial contact
