Faculty/Professional Learning Communities  Goals: Develop and maintain 15 active learning communities in areas of priority in our academic community Support the facilitation and leadership of LCs Support the development, documentation, and evaluation of LCs Promote and support the successful operation of the NE Ohio OLN Learning Communities Regional Center at KSU Outcomes/ Objectives2006-2007

  16. a few LC facts . . . • 15 LCs are directly supported through the fpdc • Several other LCs function around university (i.e. Media Mindsets, Enrollment Management, English Department) • 2nd round of OLN grants will be decided in Dec. 06

  17. New Faculty Program Goals: Link new faculty with each other and pd resources. Establish Cohort that will remain a community through tenure process 05-06 New LC on paper 06-07 New Faculty Conference Center –fpdc-MS breakfast Cohort concept supported by Office of the Provost Flashline group created R/T/P, Provost Colloquium, Brown Bags, website Outcomes/ Objectives2006-2007
