  4. We have relation between intensities and geometry (normals)

  5. Two Problems: Shape from Shading: One input image, assume Lambertian reflectance, and known illumination condition. Photometric Stereo: Several input images, and unknown illumination conditions. Assume Lambertian reflectance (more sophisticated method does not require this).
