CF Integration Manager Responsibilities • Primary contact Interface between technical systems and CF group • Review of Design Change Request (changes, modifications, etc) from technical systems • Weekly meetings to discuss new issues • Expedite the identification and resolution of integration issues • Coordination with area (Linac, Undulator and Photon) integration managers on resolving pending issues, changes, etc.

RFI’s Process • All documentation via Turner Talk (access CF LCLS, JE and Subcontractors) • Daily Coordination with JE Title III on-site liaison and Project Engineers from Turner • Weekly meetings (Turner, JE and LCLS) to review and set priorities on RFI’s • Internal Coordination with CF LCLS and other SLAC Department to respond to RFI’s

Submittal Process • Submittal register prepared by TCCo (+ 900 items) and reviewed by CF LCLS and JE • Electronic and hard copy format-see flow chart • All documentation via • Submittal log maintained by CF LCLS • Daily Coordination with JE Title III on-site liaison and Project Engineers from Turner • Weekly meetings (Turner, JE and LCLS) to review and set priorities on Submittals. • Internal Coordination with CF LCLS

Path Forward • CF Team working collaboratively with LCLS, TCCO,SLAC and JE • Configuration management process is in place! • Very dynamic process (on-going construction) • Continue interface and communication with ALL Technical Systems • Continue to coordinate open issues, design changes with other LCLS systems • Continue to provide engineering support to the construction activities

Interface and Configuration Management SUMMARY • Engineering TEAM is in place and providing support to Construction Activities • Engineering Group in the primary interface between ALL technical systems, A/E consultants and construction work • Working towards the SAFELY completion of the LCLS!
