Announcement • Advertisement • something that someone says officially, giving information about something, or when someone announces something • Example: • The President made an unexpected announcement this morning . • short film, song, etc. which tries to persuade people to buy a product or service. • Example: • - a television advertisement for a new car . • - She scanned the job advertisements in the paper .

  3. Publicity • Commercial • gaining public visibility or awareness for a product, service or your company through the media. • Example: • I just hope the contrary publicity hits their profits. • I am about to take the next folk club publicity flyer to our printers. paid classified messages in newspapers, magazines, flyers, billboards, and paid announcements over radio and television to sell a product, item or service. Example: - A commercial for sport.

  4. Trip • Travel A journey in which you go somewhere, usually for a short time, and come back again. Example: - Will you go on the school trip? To make a journey, usually over a long distance. Example: - I travel to work by train.

  5. Journey • Tour The act of travelling from one place to another, especially in a vehicle. Example: - I read a novel called” journey to the centre of the earth”. A visit to a place or area, especially one during which you look round the place or area and learn about it. Example: - We went on a guided tour to the old castle.

  6. Voyage A long journey, especially by ship. Example: - He was a young sailor on his first sea voyage.

  9. Expedition • Excursion A journey on a large ship for pleasure, during which you visit several places. Example: - An organized journey for a particular purpose A short journey usually made for pleasure, often by a group of people . Example: - Our class made an excursion to the city centre.

  12. Resort • Cabin A place where many people go for rest, sport or another stated purpose. Example: - Jeddah is considered on of the beautiful resorts in the KSA. A small, simple house made of wood. Example: - We went to the farm and stayed at the my father’s cabin.
