Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? • v-12 You stretched out Your right hand, • the earth swallowed them. • v-13 You in your mercy have led forth • the people whom you have redeemed, You have guided them in your strength, To your holy habitation.”

THE UNCHANGING HOLY GOD ( Ex. 15:11) • 15:11- “…Who is like You, glorious in HOLINESS?” • Parallel passage: • Exodus 3:5-“”..for the place where you stand is a HOLY ground” • Definition- “ Hagios” • -God is absolutely separate from all moral evils and sin. • -exalted above all His creatures • -denotes perfection and purity of God

  9. II. THE UNCHANGING ALMIGHTY GOD (15:12) • El Shaddai- Almighty God • El- God • Shaddai- Mountain • A. How did He show His greatness? • Heard their prayers • Sent them a messenger • Wrought miracle after miracle • Wiped out their enemies • Redemption through the Passover

  11. III. THE UNCHANGING MERCIFUL GOD (15: 13) • Parallel passage- Exodus 3:7 • Mercy- “ hesed” • it is a God’s goodness, manifested • towards those • -in misery • -in distress • -it is compassion, pity

  13. CONCLUSION • Our theology (doctrine of God) teaches us • that we have GOD WHO IS AN • UNCHANGING GOD EVER FAITHFUL, • STEADFAST even when the world • continues to be unstable and restless

  14. OUR RESPONSE • TO THE UNCHANGING HOLY GOD -To live a life separate from sins with a high view of God especially when we draw near to Him in worship • TO THE UNCHANGING ALMIGHTY GOD -To live a life with deep conviction of who God is, oozing Into a testimony that there is none like God.

  15. OUR RESPONSE • 3. TO THE UNCHANGING MERCIFUL GOD-To live a life like Him- merciful to people who are in misery and in distress. • 4. It is life apart from sin , and consecrated to God • It is Faithfullness to our Ever- • Faithful God
