  5. Recent Releases – 09/10 School Year • August 14, 2009 • Data Collection (new fields) • Assessment Pre-Code • Count Date to only include students enrolled on that date • Assessment Type and Assessment Methods

  6. August 14, 2009 continued • Course Assignment updates • Collection version • Program Code and Delivery System at section level instead of course level • MO_Caseload field is pulling from Sections instead of Course

September 25, 2009 • October Cycle Updates • Student Core • New ECO fields added to extract; CTE program fields added • Student Assignment –Local Course Number, Local Course Name, Local Section Number, State Course Number added • Educator School • Course Comment is optional on the extract • Course Assignment • Course Total Hours, Assignment Comment added

  8. November 13, 2009 • MO Student Assignment collection version changed • ISAdult changed to Adult • SendDistCode and Current School Number should only populate if the student is receiving college credit • Migrant Code missing

December 11, 2009 • Mentor Comment for A+ Program data now saved • Homeless Field – UN option removed • Program Code and Delivery System is now pulled from Sections • Course Assignment header changed from CrsTotalHr to CourseHours • Student Assignment Report pulled no students - removed hard coded Studentid 393 • Student A+ Program Info Page removed error for Student’s GPA • Attendance Details text boxes are now disabled to prevent attendance totals from being entered • ECO Entry Indicator blank option added

Upcoming Releases April Target: • Attendance Hours Audit Optimization • Course Assignment – Course Semester reports a blank instead of zero • New values for Placement Relations Code and Homeless, Migrant and SPED May/June Target: • Student Enrollment and Attendance • Run at district and school • Student Discipline to pull student with school id of 0 • Continued Optimization on extracts in priority order • Student Assignment, Course Assignment, Student Enroll & Attendance and Student Core – remove errors from extract and put on separate error log Summer 2010 Target: • Updates for 10/11 school year

  15. General Priority of Future Work • MOSIS • Stay current with the cycle changes from DESE. • Race to the Top – new fields in Course Assignment – Pilot will open in June 2010 and close in August. Required 2010/2011. • Updates for 2010/2011 school year • MOSIS ID system – adding 10 additional columns of data – due January 2011? • New Race/Ethnicity fields for 10-11 school year for both students and staff • Extracts affected: Student Core, Educator Core, Student Assignment, Student Graduate Follow-up, Student Discipline Incident and Assessment Pre-Code • Course Assignment • Critical Fixes

  16. Future Plans • Correct any critical issues reported to Technical support in time for next cycle usage • Be prepared for 10-11 school year • Optimization of extracts in priority order • Existing issue clean-up

What reports do you get funding for? • August Cycle: • Enrollment Attendance File – collects Summer School Attendance Hours • June Cycle: • Enrollment Attendance File – collects Attendance Hours used to calculate ADA, for Special Ed purposes ADA is used in the Current Expenditure per ADA for High Need Funds. • Student Core File – collects Migrant, LEP, and Homeless data

  18. What reports do you get funding for? • October Cycle: • Student Core File – collects Immigrant and LEP data • Assignment Files – Career Ed Salary Reimbursement, Perkins funding, and Enhancement Grants, Early Childhood Special Ed Funding • December Cycle: • Student Core File – collects LEP data, Dec 1st Child Count is used to determine Early ChildhoodSpecial Education Program Maintenance Amount

  19. What reports do you get funding for? • February Cycle: • Student Core File – collects Free and Reduced Lunch count data
