Clinical Science Research & Development (CSR&D)

The Clinical Science Research & Development (CSR&D) program enhances clinical research capacity focused on veterans’ health. With over 35 active studies, the program supports large multi-site clinical trials and single-site trials, addressing critical issues such as dementia, depression, and schizophrenia. Funding opportunities include the Clinical Research Centers of Excellence and merit review programs that nurture the careers of clinician investigators. Our goal is to foster excellence in research and improve health outcomes for veterans while building a robust research community.
