Weed Spotters assist the Victorian Government through the Weed Alert program by keeping an eye open for and reporting Weed Alert species. The Department of Primary Industries is holding an Introductory training session on Tuesday 10th March, 2009 3-5pm Shire Offices 69-71 Nelson St, Apollo Bay • The session will provide information on: • Identification of State Prohibited Weeds • Identification of Victorian Alert Weeds • The Weed Alert Program • The Role of a Weed Spotter • Hygiene, Health and Safety To register for this session please contact: Hannah Cooke on 03 5226 4560 or email hannah.cooke@dpi.vic.gov.au
