Reorganization Motivation Transition from ramp up to operation Over the time some groups “collected” functions on different levels Some groups have grown, other will shrink Some duplication of services End of EGEE X Projects New projects have a different character CERN’s role is very different in new projects ITIL New structure is intended to match better ITIL concepts

Reorganization Next Steps New Group Leaders will contact you and discuss new roles Group Leaders will discuss services and names At an extra POW ( around December 9th) Conflicts resolved Structure agreed  until then changes are relatively easy Paperwork…… 1st January: New IT Structure in place
