  1. CERTIFICATE This is to certify that this project is done by by themselves during their training period from 30/11/2005 TO 21/12/2005 at S.M.V.HSS,Trivandrum

  2. PROPERTIES & CONSTRUCTION OF QUADRILATERAL BY VISHNU.B JIJU. K. NAIR NITHINKUMAR.S.P VIPIN.R.S,X A OF S.M.V.HSS,THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

  3. INTRODUCTION A Quadrilateral is a four-sided polygon with four angles. There are many kinds of quadrilaterals. E.g. The shape ABCD shown here is a quadrilateral. A line segment drawn from one.  AC is a diagonal of quadrilateral ABCD, as is BD. vertex of a quadrilateral to the opposite vertex is called a diagonal of the quadrilateral

  4. TYPES OFQUADRILATERALS PARALLELOGRAM RECTANGLE TRAPEZIUM RHOMBUS SQUARE

  5. PROPERTIES OF PARELLOGRAM • Opposite sides of a parallelogram are parallel and equal in length. • Opposite angles are equal in size.

  6. Eg: The symbol // represents ‘is parallel to’. AB is parallel to CD is written as AB//CD. Sides AB and CD are marked with identical arrows to show that AB //CD. Sides AC and BD are marked with identical arrows to show that AC //BD.

  7. RECTANGLE

  8. PROPERTIES OF RECTANGLES • Opposite sides of a rectangle are parallel and equal in length. • All angles are equal to 90°.

  9. Eg:

  10. TRAPEZIUM

  11. PROPERTIES OF TRAPEZIUM • A trapezium has one pair of opposite sides parallel. • A regular trapezium has non-parallel sides equal and its base angles are equal

  12. Eg:

  13. · Students will be able to find relationship among angles, sides, and diagonals of parallelograms.·Students will be able to find characteristics of quadrilaterals that indicate that they are + parallelograms.·Students will know how to solve solve practical problems using the properties of parallelograms algebraic and coordinate problems using the properties of parallelograms.·Students will know how to. . · · s. ·. · OBJECTIVES

  14. CONSTRUCTION OF PARALLELOGRAM

  15. WHEN TWO DIAGONAL &ONE ANGLE IS GIVEN
