ESOL Wikispace

This project aims to enhance student engagement outside of TAFE by providing creative methods for learning English. It focuses on improving my own technology skills to effectively connect with at-risk students and support fellow staff members. Current efforts include exploring existing ESOL wikis, experimenting with photo editing, and using Audacity for audio projects. A wikispace has been set up and is ready for implementation, with numerous ideas still to develop. The ultimate goal is to foster a vibrant learning environment that meets diverse needs.

  2. Project goals and objectives • To engage with students outside of TAFE • To give students different ways to learn English • To improve my own technology skills • To be able to use technology to further engage with students at risk • To gain skills to help other staff members.

  3. Where I am up to.... • Have been looking at other ESOL wikispaces to see how they work.... • Have been playing with altering photos and resizing... • Have had a go at audacity.... • Applied for a wikispace and have one ready to go when I am  • Have HEAPS left to do...... 
