Job description Job title: Market Research Intern Reports to: Head of Analysis Salary: NMW Closing date: 30th June 2013 Established in 2011 Wowcher is now the second largest daily deal site in the UK. Our site uses the power of group buying to get unbeatable deals on the best stuff to do, see, visit, eat and buy in a variety of cities in the UK. We target young, affluent females who can’t resist the temptation of our WOW factor deals, and focus our marketing spend on adding to our large database. Wowcherland can be found in Kensington, London, where most of our fun and fabulous team reside. Purpose of the role: We are looking for graduates to assist in our analysis department over the summer period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into the commercial decision making process at a growing ecommerce website. • Main responsibilities: • Research trends in the daily deal space • Find new products for Wowcher to bring to market • Source reputable companies with whom Wowcher could partner • Find the decision makers of these companies and other big brands, and initiate contact. • Experience: • Any degree discipline, but with research experience • Demonstrable interest in business and enterprise • Previous research based roles. • This internship has the potential to become a full time research or Executive Assistant role.
