Accommodations • Traditional university dormitories –normally double occupancy whenever possible. • American roommate whenever possible • University housing assignments not normally changed within first two weeks of arrival except under extraordinary circumstances • Students MUST reside on campus for a minimum of one year OR according to individual university regulations for undergraduates

  25. Meals • University students are provided with the optimal meal plan (typically 14 –19 meals/week • There is no refund for students who wish to opt out of the meal plan • Normally the meal plan is mandatory for students who live on campus

  26. Important Pre-Arrival Forms • Medical history and immunizations with dates and doses** • Medical insurance coverage unless purchasing school/university policy • Travel itinerary at least 2 weeks prior to arrival **Transfers will NOT be arranged until medical forms have been cleared

  27. Application Deadlines • Universities have rolling admissions with extended deadlines for ISES applicants • Admissions decisions will be made as soon as 2 –3 weeks for undergraduate applications; 3 –4 weeks for postgraduate applications • Faster if a complete last minute application
