Corinth was a church with a host of problems…. And one bright light. They were still meeting together!. Therefore when you meet together, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper, for in your eating each one takes his own supper first; and one is hungry and another is drunk. I Corinthians 11:20-21.

  3. Why We DON’T Come Together NOT to please self

  4. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.2 Timothy 4:3

  5. Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.Matthew 6:1

  7. What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I will not praise you.If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that you will not come together for judgment.I Corinthians 11:22, 34

  9. Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.Colossians 3:1-3
