At Duquesne University, we explored the fusion of learning and transaction systems to create a unified Blackboard environment tailored for mid-sized institutions. This initiative aims to enhance services and functionality for our campus community, improve user satisfaction, and tackle project challenges effectively. We examined the true costs, stakeholder involvement, and strategies for overcoming institutional barriers while leveraging Blackboard's expertise.
