  1. Ms. Fletcher’s Weekly News April 14th Family Times I will be sending home on Mondays a sheet called family times. It goes along with our phonemic skills that week. It would be wonderful extra practice and would help the kiddos out when it comes time for their test on Friday (wink, wink). So if you have time to look it over and do some of the activities you might find it beneficial. What We are Learning? Reading I can draw conclusions while reading. I can use my background knowledge when I read. Phonics I can read and spell words with ou. I can read and spell words with two syllables. Grammar: I can identify pronouns. Math: I can tell if an equation is true or false. I can solve subtraction facts with sums to 18. I can draw a picture and write a number sentence for subtraction and additon story problems. I can use a real object graph (ten frames) to answer questions and draw conclusions. Reminders PTA Carnival April 25th. Box Top Contest ends April 28th. Zoo field trip May 5th. Fun Day May 16th.
