Great Wall of China • The Great Wall of China was built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from its enemies in the North. It took more than 1000 years to build. Now some of it is in ruins. You can see it from the moon.
Terracotta Warriors • The terracotta army was guarding the tomb of the First Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang di, who lived over 2200 years ago. • The terracotta warriors are unique. They are life-size and individually modelled in clay and even the soles of the shoes of the kneeling warriors are modelled with fine tread patterns. The hands and the heads of the terracotta warriors were made separately, and each head is said to be different and individual.
