  2. Purpose • To provide the most accurate, comprehensive, relevant, and timely data on domestic and international travel

  3. Scope • Provide data on personal, business, and occupational travel • Provide data on travel at various geographic levels on origin and destination, trip and traveler characteristics • Collect data on all modes of travel as well as intermodal travel

  4. Outcomes/Products • Data Repository, Microdata, Data Files • Exposure Data (files, tables) • Publications, Special Studies, Reports • Web Services (access to data, menu driven analysis, analysis tools) • User Services (outreach, consulting services, user support)

  5. Approach • National Household Travel Survey • Family of targeted data collection programs
