Compulsory Subjects • C- grades or better must be attained for: PLP (10 credits) Literacy (20 credits) – English (or Equivalent) Numeracy (10 credits) – Maths (the variations) Research Project (10 credits) 3 x Full Year Stage 2 subjects (60 credits) Total = 110 credits • All compulsory subjects are moderated to ensure integrity of assessment standards…

  4. Multiple Learning Options #1 • 4 subjects:Full time load + Study line = Yr12 + Research Project [Study line = 5 lessons fully supervised] • 6 subjects:Full time load = Yr11 [no Study line] • Plus the equivalents…

  5. Multiple Learning Options #2 Full time: School + Open Access1 Full time: School + apprenticeship/TAFE2 Year 13/Part time: finishing off pattern requirements *Must be negotiated. 1 & 2 = For Year 11 & Year 12 students

Other subjects and courses SACE recognises learning both in and outside of school, for example: School subjects + … • Vocational Education and Training courses (VET) • TAFE(and university courses) • Community Learning (The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, volunteer work, home carers, Vacswim, Cadets, Operation Flinders, CFS…)

  7. SACE at CLARE High School 2018 = 230 *Maths at Yr 11 x 2 units; #CHS Students still have access to more than the minimum 200 credits.
