Can be published in the conference proceedings or later as a journal article • Transactions: published papers of a conference or a learned society

To keep in mind when you start to search • What kind of information do you need? • Overviews, opinions, explanations, in depth information, scholarly articles, empiricalstudies • Brand new or historical. Local or international. Language • Facts and figures. Statistics • What kind of sources are most likely to contain this type of information? • Which search tools are best to use for finding these sources? • Choose appropriate searchterms or keywords • Distinguish between theoretical and empirical information
