  2. Futuristic approach for capturing the Knowledge and alternate medium for sharing it among the employees. Provide the internet portal within PSWR/BHEL website where all the power plant ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING procedures to be made available for reference to all employees. Erection and commissioning procedure for vendor items should also be made available in same portal (with secure logins adhering to confidentiality). Timely Circulation of Technical circulars and material in line with new technical advancements in relevant fields to be ensured at working level executives. Arranging technical meets and internal discussion in person among technical personnel to enhance technical competence as well as boost moral for team work. Extending support for higher learning opportunities through distance learning program with sponsorship for Management/finance Program.

  3. Project wise plant Technical details to be made available in website at initial stages of project only. Time to time manufacturing plant visit, product familiarisation for related field commissioning executive to be organised for better understanding of products and trouble shooting of problems. Knowledge sharing programme in site also organised for newly joined engineers/Assistance engineers.

  4. Acquiring the knowledge for facing the future challenges FUTURE CHALLENEGES – CAPABILITY BUILDING OF SUPERCRITICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR 660MW AND 800 MW POWER PLANTS. Training for erection and commissioning of supercritical plants. (Visit/training on running supercritical project of technology collaborator). Supercritical boiler and turbine manufacturing plant visit for BHEL erection and commissioning engineer.

  5. Drawing and documents to be made available in well advance with BHEL for better understanding of technology and smooth erection and commissioning of future ongoing supercritical mega projects. Newly joined technical staff may be given exposure to newer technologies during their initial / induction trainings, if possible in professional bodies like NPTI etc.

  6. Best Practices Adapted During Erection/Commissioning • ID,FD,APH AND BFP LUBE OIL FLUSHING CAN BE COMPLETED WELL ADVANCE BY USING LOCAL STARTER PANEL AND CONSTRUCTION POWER SUPPLY( IF REGULAR SUPPLY IS DELAYED ESPECIALY IN GREEN FIELD PROJECT). THIS HELPS IN TIME CYCLE REDUCTION IN EQUIPMENT COMMISSIONING. • TO PROVE HFO CORNER ELEVATION WITH THE HELP OF LDO FIRING IN WELL ADVANCE BY INTERCONNECTING BETWEEN LDO AND HFO HEADER AT FIRING FLOOR IN GREEN FIELD PROJECT WHICH GIVES LOT OF FLEXIBILITY IN OPERATION. • ADVANCE PLANNING OF EDTA / STEAM BLOWING AND ENSURING MATERIAL ARRANGEMENT AND AVAILABILITY AT SITE ON TIME. • BEFORE BOILER LIGHTUP EDTA CHEMICAL CLEANING TEMPORARY SYSTEM MADE READY SO THAT CHEMICAL CLEANING CAN BE STARTED IMMEDIATELY AFTER LIGHTUP.

  7. OUTSOURCING OF CHEMIST DURING EDTA CHEMICAL CLEANING FOR CHEMICAL ANALYSIS WHICH HELPS IN SMOOTH COMPLETION OF OPERATION / PROCESS. • USING TEMPORARY BLOWER FOR DUCT LEAKAGE TEST.
