  2. The changing times have given a new dimension to education and parents want to take all the decisions. The debate on national curriculum Vs International curriculum is still on with the focus on CBSE Vs IB curriculum gaining prominence. Today parents are confronted with the challenge of not just choosing the best school but also the right curriculum for their wards.

  3. CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education is the most popular curriculum in India. It is suitable for people who are in transferable jobs and is available in all cities and towns across the country. They follow the reputed CBSE curriculum. Central schools are known as KendiryaVidayala and are affiliated to CBSE board. It is recognized by Indian Government.

  4. ICSE known as the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education also recognized as Senior Cambridge. The examinations are conducted for Class 10 and 12 called the Indian School Certificate. The ICSE curriculum emphasis on the languages with two English papers unlike CBSE. There are both day and residential schools following ICSE curriculum.

  5. IB or International Baccalaureate is an internationally recognized curriculum following a unique teaching methodology. IB presents three programs: The Primary Years Program from Kindergarten to Class 5, Middle Years Programme from Class 6 to Class 10 and The Diploma Programme from Class 11 to Class 12. The IB syllabus us accepted worldwide and has an edge for students who aspire to go abroad.

  6. IB pedagogy is about what to learn and how to learn and the students compete well in the examination as there is very little of rote learning and a high degree of analytical skills. Internal assessment is the prime component in IB syllabus. Hindi is being added as an optional subject in IB schools.
