This document outlines the "Priority of Service" concept, which ensures that qualified veterans and their eligible spouses receive preferential access to employment, training, and placement services funded by the Department of Labor. Veterans, including those discharged under honorable conditions and those with service-related disabilities, are given precedence over non-veterans in any qualified job training program. This priority also extends to spouses of living veterans and those of deceased veterans who died from service-connected disabilities. Key definitions and eligibility are detailed to promote understanding.
