Marriage. Marriage: Man & Woman. Genesis 2:18-24 “’This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh..” (ESV).

  4. A “Proper” Marriage Elements of a marriage that’s “right” in the sight of God. • Man-Woman. Husband is the head, wife is submissive • Ephesians 5:23-25 • Husband is a good provider; wife takes care of the home • I Timothy 5:8; Titus 2:5 • Husband and wife understand their responsibilities • I Cor. 7:3-5. Heb. 13:4
