Introducing LD 500 / LD 510 Leak Detection Devices Reduce your energy costs, lower CO₂ emissions, and sustainably increase profitability with the perfect interaction between the LD 500 / LD 510 and the CS Leak Reporter software. These ultrasonic leak detectors feature an integrated camera and display leakage rate in litres per minute (l/min) and cost in €/year. Designed for high precision and efficiency, they help identify even the smallest leaks while providing accurate data for reporting and maintenance.

  3. Advantages at a Glance Finds the smallest leakages even at enormous distances. Auto Level: Automatically adjusts sensitivity to the environment and reliably masks out ambient noise. Determines leakages in l/min and calculates savings potential in €/year. Automatic laser distance measurement ensures more reliable cost calculations. Take pictures of your leakages and describe the necessary maintenance work. Transfer leak data to your PC via USB. Create automatic reports in accordance with ISO 50001. Up to 9 hours of continuous operation. Separate input for external CS Instruments sensors (LD 510 only).

How LD 500 / LD 510 Works The LD 500 leak detector measures the ultrasound generated by compressed air, steam, gases, and vacuum leaks, as well as partial discharges on insulators, transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage lines (corona effect). The inaudible ultrasound is converted into an audible signal, allowing precise leak localisation through the acoustic signal in headphones and the camera image, even in noisy industrial environments.

  5. Advanced Sensor Technology & Adjustable Sensitivity Equipped with advanced sensor technology, the LD 500 can locate even the smallest leakages (0.1 l/min ≈ 1 €/year) over long distances. Its sensitivity can be adjusted automatically or manually to easily find leakages even while the production facilities are in operation.
