  1. Poison Demon Poison Demons look like giant skinks, but their behavior is very different from the small, blue-tongued reptile that shares its shape. Poison Demons can balance their entire body on one arm, so as to use their tails as clubs; a trick that no animal on earth can pull off. The trick that Poison Demons are most famous for, however, is the ability to inject poison into an enemy with a single touch. Poison Demons are very flexible when it comes to attacking, a definite change from previous versions of the game. This flexibility stays with the Demon as it upgrades. Poison Demon 2 reflex 2 hands 35 EP Physical Attacks Toxic Claw: Deals 5 damage and the target is Infected. Tail Whip: Deals 15 damage. 1 reflex 1 hand 1 Poison Powerup 1 reflex 1 hand 1 Rock Powerup

  2. Essential and Ancient Poison Demons Poison Demons don’t get many extra EP as they upgrade, but they get quite a bit of Reflex, making them the perfect Demons for using weapons and physical attacks at the same time. Essential and Ancient Poison Demons can be very effective with just physical attacks, but since their physical attacks are so small, it can take all the Powerups a player has to get one Essential Poison Demon to do its job. Ancient Poison Demons take even more Powerups, but the huge amount of Reflex that an Ancient Poison Demon has makes it perfect for using a two-handed weapon quickly. Ancient Poison Demon Essential Poison Demon 10 reflex 5 reflex 2 hands 2 hands 170 EP 75 EP Physical Attacks Blood Bolt: Deals 15 damage and the target is Infected. Physical Attacks Sharp Strike: Deals 25 damage, and the target is Infected. 3. Elder Poison Demon Elder Poison Demons have some big changes in appearance from their earlier forms. Not only does each Elder Poison Demon have a tail that is over 10 times the length of an Ancient Poison Demon’s tail, they sport a gigantic pair of rainbow wings, making them resemble mythical Couatls more than any animal. The wings can change size, ranging anywhere from a 2-yard wingspan to a 20-yard wingspan, but they always expand to at least 5 yards each before the Elder Poison Demon starts flying. An Elder Poison Demon’s favorite strategy is to wrap its coils around an enemy and snap it in half, but they can also use their venomous bite to paralyze an enemy that won’t break. Both attacks are unbelievably fast, striking in less than 1/5 of a second. Elder Poison Demons are some of the hardest Elder Demons to defeat if they go berserk, and they are very hostile even before this happens. Use them carefully. Elder Poison Demon 23 reflex 2 hands 315 EP Physical Attacks Spine Break: Deals 80 damage, and flip a coin. If heads, deals 60 more damage. Nerve Shock Fang:Deals 50 damage, and the target is Perfect Stunned. 2 Poison Powerups 3 Rock Powerups 14 reflex 0 hands 2 Poison Powerups 2 Water Powerups 9 reflex 2 hands

  4. Specials 3 Poison Powerups Special Attack: Any Poison Demon Paralytic Puncture: Deals 15 damage, and the target is Stunned. Flip a coin. If heads, restore 10 of this Demon’s EP. Neurotoxin 2 hands 2 reflex One thing that has remained the same throughout the whole history of DFDD is that Poison Demons really need Poison Powerups. The Essential and Ancient Poison Demons need Poison Powerups for every attack, and the Standard Poison Demon needs Poison to infect. The special attack, Neurotoxin, takes advantage of this extreme, and uses three Poison Powerups and both of a Poison Demon’s hands for a devastating bite that not only lets the Poison Demon stun its target, but also drains some of the target’s energy in the hopes of healing the Poison Demon.
