  1. DARE TO BE DIFFERENTSummer Mentoring Camp We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to decrease bullying in our schools and communities. Although the center is operated and controlled by adults, we allow the children to be themselves. We focus on reducing and preventing bullying, cyberbullying, suicide, and school absenteeism for children between the ages of 4 and 24. We are committed to teaching our youth effective solutions on how to respond to all forms of bullying through self-expressions of Art.

  2. While many say, there is a difference between bullying and violence; statistics show that bullying leads to violent behaviors and actions. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT Summer Mentoring Camp is committed to creating a society where every child has the opportunity to develop, learn, flourish, and live in an environment without fear, without violence and without limitation.  

  3. EXPRESSIONS OF ME In August 2013, we joined forces with several professional artists who work on a one-to-one basis with the children to express their feelings, pain and fears. Currently, we have 37 artists who travel from various parts of New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.

Our goal is to raise $3.5 million dollars • We want to take the summer mentoring camp from seasonal to year-round • We want to provide a state of the art facility for the children to utilize all means of self-expression through Visual and Performing Arts, Paintings, Graphic Design, Film Making, and Music Production • We want to purchase (3) 50 passenger buses for field trips and excursions

  6. How are we going to raise the money? Our goal is to present an exquisite Art Gala at the Trump TajMahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey featuring a live auction of innovative creations from various professional artists based on the children’s heartfelt expressions, butler served champagne and hors d’oeuvres, live musical performances with Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry, dancing and more.
