Overview of Gigabit Ethernet Tx/Rx Progress and Testing Results
This presentation provides a comprehensive update on Group 2's Gigabit Ethernet Tx/Rx project as of April 15, 2004. We have nearly completed the aggressive Tx and Rx boards, with successful optical testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations. Key accomplishments include the Optical BER test and measured optical power at VCSEL. Upcoming tasks involve finalizing assembly (pending SMA connectors), continuing cross-talk and performance tests, and preparing the final report. Challenges were addressed, including conservative designs, and results indicate solid performance.
