  1. Photostory Day by Day

  2. Day 1 • Create folder titled “Your disease period #” in Dept Folder driveex: asthma2 • Go to library webpage • Resources- class projects-photostory-blank slides • Save a blank slide to your disease folder • Create a word document titled Work Cited- save in disease folder • Look for pictures larger than 640x480 in google images or flickr • Copy and paste full size image urladdress into works cited document • Save full size image pictures to disease folder DON’T CHANGE NAMES OF PICTURES! • LAST 5 MINS- Save a copy of your disease folder to Dept Folder, PE, lphillip, Students, Period # of our class • Homework: find 12-14 pictures, save on flash drive or email pictures to school email

  3. Day 2 • Finish finding pictures if necessary • Open photostory program • Import pictures and blank slides • Put blank slides first and last • Sequence your pictures in the order that you want them to appear • Save project in your photostory disease folder on your H:drive

  4. 2-3 • Add text to your title slide and copy/paste work cited into last slide • Narrate your story- your disease research chart will be your script • Tips: speak loudly, clearly, slowly • Use inflection and emotion in your voice- make it interesting to listen to Homework: Find music to add to the background. Save music onto disk or email file to school email. Needs to be mp3 format.

  5. Day 4 • Finish Narration • Add music • Use www.youtube-mp3.org to convert music file to mp3 • Can search songs on google and use youtubeurl to convert into music file using youtube-mp3.org.com • Use soundzabound database in library’s database • Customize Motion of slides

  6. Day 5 • Finish narrating (script is your research chart) • Add music (soundzabound.com) • Save project to H:drive folder • Name project YOURLASTNAME PERIOD# • (Phillips3) • Hit next to finalize project to .WMV file • Open your disease folder and also…. • Click on my computer network locations, Open Dept-Folder • Open Physical Education folder • Open lphillip folder • With both your folder window AND lphillip folder window open • Click and drag your .WMV WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO file to lphillip DROP folder • Congratulations! You are done.
