Data Confidence • Groundtruthing with stakeholders • Using data collected to national standards where available (e.g. Cefas, MMO, EA, NMBACQ Accredited consultancies, Statutory agencies, etc.) • Quality Assurance (double checking things are where they say they are, and what they say they are, MESH confidence intervals.) • Quality grading (saying how confident you are using different datasets) • Stacking (comparing different datasets collected in the same area to see if they agree)

  11. Additional Data – Can you help? • Are we missing any important survey work? (see list on table for full data list) • Better understanding of activities and uses that leave a footprint on the sedimentary habitats (especially fisheries activity). • Better understanding of sediments. • Better and more detailed understanding of spawning and nursery areas. • Better understanding of management activities
