  1. Built for Tough Environments: Heavy-Duty Pendant Hoist Cables

  2. Lifts and hoists employ these pendant cables as feeder or control cables. Without causing harm to the outer sheath, the two copper load-bearing components can be separated and installed separately from the cable gland. Because of the high-quality materials utilised in its production, the cable delivers exceptional flexibility at lower temperatures. The outer jacket has two unique torsion-free copper supporting sections that run parallel to each other. Installations using drum reeling are not appropriate for these cables. • Pendant hoist cables are produced for heavy industry applications such as mining, quarrying, and building, where they are used in conjunction with other crane cables. Torsion, torque, tension, and extreme mechanical stresses are all factors that the Pendant Hoist control wires are made to withstand and supplied by CY Electrical & Cranes Co Ltd. • Specifications for Pendant Hoist Cables • Pendant hoist cables are used in control applications, transmitting signals from push-button controllers to gantries and also in overhead cranes. Because they provide flexibility and durability over a broad temperature range, they are utilised in overhead crane feeder applications. Pendant cables are rated for temperatures between -15 and +60 degrees Celsius, feature two exterior strainer wires, and are PVC-insulated with copper conductors.

  3. The PVC-coated flexible copper pendant hoist cable is designed with a voltage rating and features galvanised wire rope that provides suspension support up to a maximum suspended height of around 80m. Each core has a pulling force of 2100N. These cables are supplied by CY Electrical & Cranes Co Ltd 8, 12, 16, 20 and 25 cores.

  4. Pendant cables are used to supply control signals to pendants suspended from hoists, overhead cranes, and a variety of other lifting and handling apparatuses. These cables need to be strong enough to sustain the weight of the control pendant that is attached, withstand continuous movement while in operation, and guarantee that the cable cores are not under any load. • The most common product that is carried by providers has two copper support wires moulded into the outer sheath and a PVC sheath. For use in situations where a typical PVC sheath is inappropriate, suppliers also carry a cable, which has a strainer. • Because of the extensive pendant cable inventory, many of these cables can be shipped the same day from the UK warehouse, and the most common sizes can also be bought online. Please call reliable providers for additional information.
