Classroom Updates for the Week of August 26-30: Mrs. Riffle’s Newsletter

This week in Mrs. Riffle's classroom, students will review sounds and delve into folktales, including "Little Red Riding Hood," utilizing Venn diagrams for comparison. In math, the focus is on reviewing addition, subtraction, base ten, and place value concepts. Students will share their All About Me Brown Bags. Note that there will be no spelling words assigned this week. Upcoming events include Labor Day on September 2, 2013, with no school. Specials will rotate throughout the week. Remember to check the Reading Log in your child's Homework Folder!
