Savino) • • IMPORTANT NOTICE:NSTX TEST CELL ACCESS REQUIREMENTS HAVE CHANGED • Please get your own radiation badge if you need test cell access at all. • You cannot escort people with your own badge. • You cannot be escorted by people with their own badge. • If you need to escort, you must have the required escort paperwork with an escort radiation badge issued by HP - Cathy Saville (csaville@pppl.gov).If you have any questions, please contact Al von Halle or Masa Ono.

  4. NSTX Update • • NSTX has completed ~ 7.5 run weeks. • - Our target is 10-11 run weeks. • - We had a plan to complete the run by June 15. • • Recently, DOE has given us an extra fund to run one more week. • • This will enable us to now aim for 11 - 12 run weeks which would put the end date to June 22. • • Let us prepare for the possibility to run to the end of June to accommodate minor issues as they arise (contingency.) If deemed cost effective, extended run days to accelerate completion of run will be considered.
