Phnom Penh Center for Independent Living (PPCIL) is non-profitable, non political and non government organization which was created and running by persons with disabilities and for persons with disabilities. Its unique center for independent living (CIL) in Cambodia, this center has established for the promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities through the sense of independent living movement. In unofficially been created on beginning April, 2009 and have registered officially with Ministry of Interior (MOI) of Royal Government of Cambodia on 23 September, 2009. We have been working basically for dissemination an IL concept in order to change the negative thinking on disabled people and increasing the opportunity in fully participation in the society.
