6.6 Day 2 Notes • Kite – a quadrilateral with exactly two pairs of congruent consecutive sides.
Properties of Kites • Theorem 6-6-1 • If a quadrilateral is a kite, then its diagonals are perpendicular.
Properties of Kites • Theorem 6-6-2 • If a quadrilateral is a kite, then exactly one pair of opposite angles are congruent.
Pythagorean Theorem a and b are always the sides touching the right angle! a and b are called the legs c is always the side opposite the right angle! c is called the hypotenuse
