  2. Almost every student learns some language basics in school years. But without consistent practice, it won’t be easy to remember what you have learned. Although most students have studied English in high school, if they never manage to travel to an English-speaking country and also have no need of English at their workplace, chances are that they will forget most of the English they have learned. It is possible to pick this all back up with practice, and there are some other tips and tricks to find out how to speak English well.

  3. To be fluent in English, engaging yourself as much as possible in the language is the best way to regain what you have learned in high school and start picking up new vocabulary. You can also learn English speaking by watching English language films, listening to music and by doing all other activities in English. These activities will surely help you to pick up the right conversation style that people generally use to communicate on the street, but it may not help you with grammar issues. To solve this problem, it is best to supplement your cultural knowledge with a more structured approach. Take help from native speakers. Try to find some native speakers who want to learn your native language in exchange for a conversation in English. Ask them to correct you when you communicate with them in English. You can also look for native speakers online. At present, many online English courses have native speakers whom you can ask for help on the solution for English related problems.

  4. Try listening to yourself. Many people don’t even try to work on their accent, as they think that it is impossible and useless to improve their English accent. But this is not the case. Try to imitate native speakers at every opportunity in every activity when you interact with them. Many non-native English speakers have achieved total fluency in English reading and writing, and in these respects their understanding of English is excellent but when they have to communicate in real life they start struggling. At this point they feel that knowing and recognizing written English doesn’t mean that they can speak the English in the same manner. To speak fluently in English, we have to take a look at children and understand how they learn a language. They don’t study grammar and don’t memorize word lists to pick up English. Practicing on a daily basis on phrases and word combinations, the way they learn is the key to learning English in the natural way. We can also apply this same technique to our learning process. By repeating and memorizing most commonly used English phrases, one can improve spoken English in a relatively short period of time.
