Socractic Seminar
This report details the various roles in a Socratic Seminar's outer circle, focusing on their contributions to constructive dialogue and learning outcomes. The roles include the Reporter, who summarizes strengths and weaknesses of the conversation; the Silent Contributor, who provides insights as if in the inner circle; and the Tallyers, who track references to texts and speaking frequency. Additionally, the Shadower evaluates participants on criteria like clarity, use of evidence, respectfulness, and preparation. Each role promotes active engagement and accountability in discussions.
