  3. Life in Year 1 • Pupil Independence • Transition (CIL / Classroom) • Yearly Overview • Curriculum Leaflet – Autumn • Key Learning • Maths Facts – Number Bonds, Sequences • Phonics / SPAG and phonics screening in June. • Spellings • Handwriting

  4. Home Learning • Homework will go home on a Friday and to be returned on a Wednesday. • In their homework books there is a grid with lots of different activities to do. Children only need to pick one of these activities to do each week. • Spellings go home on Mondays to learn for a test on Fridays. • Children should read to you at least twice a week. Books are changed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
