  3. CanOSH background • Created in 1998 • Completely redesigned and updated in 2001 • To provide a single source for Canadians to access OSH information from all Canadian jurisdictions

  4. CanOSH – What is it? • Public bilingual web site created and maintained by CCOHS • Collaboration between CCOHS and federal, provincial and territorial governments • Portal to OSH information on web sites of government agencies with responsibility for OSH and/or compensation

  6. CanOSH – What is it? III • Search engine • Content of all the agencies’ web sites is indexed • Search all sites or any combination of sites • Index is updated continuously • OSH information in English and French

CanOSH – How does it help Canadians • Makes credible OSH information from all provinces and territories readily accessible • Lets employers and workers access hard to find government information • Allows government representatives to see what’s happening in other jurisdictions • Allows anyone to search for all Canadian governments’ information on a particular OSH subject
