China's main goals until 2015 are: • GDP to grow by 7 percent annually on average • More than 45 million jobs to be created in urban areas •  Energy consumption per unit of GDP to be cut by 16 percent; • Carbon dioxide emission per unit of GDP to be cut by 17 percent; China's 12th Five Year plans 2011-2015 Working with energy in China
