Actions Needed • Coordination within transportation • Open system: ITS and ESS standard • Data ownership, liability issues • Coordination with meteorological community • Efforts for integrated observing system under the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology (OFCM) • Requirements research • Better guidance for 5-10 year investment program (transportation and other platforms)
